Last Thursday, Verizon Communications sent the major video streaming website, Netflix, a cease-and-desist letter after they began to blame video slowdowns on Verizon’s Internet service. If a user was watching Netflix on the Verizon network they would receive a statement saying “The Verizon network is crowded right now.” The first sighting of this was a tweet by Yuri Victor, who happens to be a Verizon FIOS user. Verizon’s general counsel member, Randal S. Milch, wrote “Netflix’s false accusations have the potential to harm the Verizon brand in the marketplace,” and included that in a letter to Netflix. As I have mentioned before in other reviews, I enjoy playing PC games. Am I the type of gamer that raids on World of Warcraft? No. Am I the type of gamer who plays his fair share of Steam and online PC games? Yes. Therefore, when looking at gaming mice what should I be looking for? Should I look for the hardcore mice that include a ten key macro pad where your thumb should be? Or should I stick with a traditional PC mouse? After major data breaches in the United States to companies such as Target and Neiman Marcus, Congress is pushing down on businesses to adopt a new type of smart card. When you look at your credit card, you will notice the black magnetic strip on the back of the card. This strip is how we use and interact with the card. When you break down a computer piece by piece, you notice just how well each and every part works together and see how important every single component is. Following answers to the questions asked by the jury last week, the eight-member jury came to the conclusion that both Apple and Samsung were at fault for patent-infringement.
