How would you like to make a contribution to the publication of articles and blogs in this burgeoning section of TSF?
Don’t worry if you are not a great writer. As long as you can contribute something useful we can always sort out things like grammar and spelling. What we need from you is the technical input. Don’t feel that this needs to be at scientific journal level. We are looking for anything from short, newsy, technical blogs to lengthy, detailed technical articles with everything in between.
If, on the other hand, your strong point is as a wordsmith, but you lack the technical knowledge, you may be able to put the technical ideas of others into words. Even better, you may be able to do both.
In addition, we require proofreaders, editors and those who are just happy to help out with the general running of the section.
Tech Support Forum works with a group of volunteers and any work contributed to the forum will be treated as volunteer work; a great way to build a work resume!

I have a virus and it has taken over the administrative control of my laptop it is an ASus laptop stuck on windows 8 because I am. Unable to run any updates or make any changes without administrative rights and I tried running in safe mode but it asked me for administrative password and I tried every password I have ever used and nothing worked

You can get help -but you could also install Malwarebytes (.org) which is my default system, it clears every nasty infection and has a cheap lifetime license for real time protection-also has a free version. Give it a shot, I bet it will clean up your laptop.
