Although it isn’t dust-resistant, it boasts an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can handle significant exposure to water which makes it the perfect speaker for a pool or spa day. I would stay away from the beach outings due to sand.
Having reviewed several Tribit products over the years, one thing I consistently appreciate is their simplicity. There’s no need for apps, complex settings, or unnecessary customization, just straightforward, easy-to-use buttons.
On the XSound Plus 2, the rubberized buttons give you control over power, Bluetooth, volume, the phone’s voice assistant, an equalizer, and a stereo pairing option.
Powering on the speaker is as simple as a quick press of the power button, followed by a soft confirmation tone. However, turning it off can sometimes be too easy because I’ve accidentally switched it off if you grab it the wrong way.
