For all of the music lovers in the world playing their own personal jam, sometimes we want to just rock out loud and have our friends jump in.

During the previous year, I took the opportunity to listen and review the Logitech Ultimate Ears Boom series. With the UE Boom and UE Mini Boom receiving my recommendation, I was quite pleased with what Logitech had produced.

The background of Logitech spans to multiple areas of the technology world, including mice and keyboards, webcams, and most importantly sound. For years, the tech giant has been working hard to develop high quality speaker systems for desktops and laptops.

As people go mobile, Logitech moves with them by creating the UE Boom series. With the UE Boom and UE Mini Boom pricing between $99 up to $199, Logitech has stepped their game by recently introducing the new UE Mega Boom to the Boom series.

This new award-winning portable speaker packs a more powerful bass and all of the positivity of the UE Boom. Furthermore, it carries over specifications such as waterproof IPX7, acoustic skin, a standup design, 20 hour battery, and dual pairing to other UE Mega Booms.

“People want their music wherever they go, and to be part of everything they do,” said Rory Dooley, general manager of Ultimate Ears. “That’s why we designed UE MEGABOOM to be strong enough to withstand your life and your adventures, and allow you to share the magic of music wherever you go.”

The only dislike for some users may be the increase in price to a hefty $299.99, however, if the UE Mega Boom is anything like its little brother unit, then purchasing this unit would not leave you disappointed. The UE Mega Boom is now offered on the Logitech UE website. Stay tuned for a full review of the unit.
