After the Beats Buyout with HTC, Beats Electronics has transitioned into a new music streaming service called Beats Music.
Launching on January 21st, Beats Music will be available to AT&T customers who wish to pay an extra monthly subscription. Beginning at $10 a month users will gain access to unlimited song streaming and downloads for three devices or ten devices for $15 a month.
Looking to compete against Pandora and Spotify, Beats Music will launch with many music albums. Users who sign up for the service will be able to download any song to their device and even listen while they’re offline. However, the song will be removed once a user’s membership ends.
A smart move indeed by Beats Electronics to sign up with second-largest wireless carrier, since competing against Pandora and Spotify will not be an easy task. There is also a rivalry with iTunes, as Apple has just released iTunes Radio.
It will be interesting how this turns out for Beats, as this is their first major change without HTC. Could we see a downfall of Beats? As CEO Ian Rogers said about his competitors they “aren’t actually ‘services’, they’re ‘servers’”.

In contrast with older versions, FFC now is obviously thinner, smaller, lighter and easier to bend, and to fold. FFC helps signal transmisson and connection.
