It’s no surprise that Google collects every user’s data only to make a profit from it. Becoming one of the top five wealthiest companies in the world doesn’t just happen from creating a free search engine; Google’s AdWords was estimated to bring the company a total of $33.3 billion in 2011 which is 97% of Google’s total revenue.
Google has been doing this for years, scanning and understanding what you search for at Google.com in order to to provide targeted ads.
The search engine giant is moving to the next level by incorporating your Google+’s profile pictures into Google AdWords, unless you opt out. According to the new shared endorsement policy that will be implemented on November 11th, Google may automatically assume that all users with a Google+ account will be willing to share their username, profile photo, and +1 reviews/comments in their Ad Words.
There is, however, a way to opt out of the program. By logging into your Google+ account and locating the Google Ad settings, you will see a tick box that allows you to opt out. If the box is ticked, remove the tick then press Save. You can opt out of the program by visiting this page. I would highly recommend opting out of the program unless you wish Google to use your information at their leisure.
Google hasn’t just stopped at using Google+ information. A report from Security Watch on PCMag has discovered that Chrome is the worst browser for keeping your sensitive information safe. Ninety nine percent of all Chrome users who enter in data such as credit cards, social security numbers, names, etc., are at risk of unprotected data as Google reads and scans all of Chrome’s database.
In a world of technology and identity thefts on the rise, Google needs to understand the risks that they expose their customers to. Personally, if it wasn’t for my Android smartphone I would completely remove my Google identity and move to a company that protects my data, such as Microsoft.

Thank you for that info. But how can I close my Google+ account please?
