With the approaching release date of November for the Xbox One, Microsoft has kept up the hype of their brand new gaming console.

Today Microsoft released a video on their YouTube Channel on the unboxing of the upcoming Xbox One. The unboxing is of the very exclusive Xbox One Day One edition which is for anybody who will pre-order the Xbox before November.

This new gaming console is a completely redesigned system over the previous Xbox 360 we have all gotten used to.

Here are just a few details I found interesting within the unboxing and the Xbox itself.

    • Finally the system will come with its very own HDMI cable; no longer do you need to go out and purchase your own. In the video Microsoft makes a big deal about how the HDMI is 4K ready. It should be noted that all HDMI cables are the same, you are not limited to using the included cable.

    • The Xbox One will support built in wireless speaking to A/B/G/N singles but will lack the brand new AC channel.

    • The completely redesigned controller looks up-to-date and looks as if holding will become easier as there is no longer a large battery pack protruding on the back.

    • Microsoft does include a microphone. However, it is the standard headset. Personally, paying $500 for a gaming console I would have liked to see a wireless microphone.

It’s been well over seven years since Microsoft has updated the Xbox and with the release date approaching quickly console gamers are going to have one great holiday.
